We are a group of teachers who want to explore the history of Villa Mercedes through English. We invite our students to participate in different english walking tours where they can enjoy the history of their city differently. We thought, that maybe, through english can be more motivating and engaging. We live in a globalized world where english plays an important role for international communication.
Our moto is " from Mercedes to the world". We believe that Mercedes on foot can be the springboard of sharing our roots with everybody. Hence, when our students travel they can say who they are and where they live. Mercedes on foot aims at sharing our identity to the world.
I'm not a student ... Can I participate?
Everybody is invited to take part of the tours. Not only students but also local citizens, people in general can join us. Are you staying in Villa Mercedes for some time? Have you ever experienced being in an english walking tour? Give it a try! Do you feel you are loosing your english?. Everybody can participate!
All particpants are given a personal handout. In the handout participants have a description of the place they are visiting and also some pictures. For those, who want to do some practice of English after the tour, at the back of the handout there are some extra activities about the tour such as: true or false activities, matching exercises and reading comprehension.

WHO WE ARE
MERCEDES ON FOOT AT YOUR SCHOOL!.​
We offer our tours to all the public schools of San Luis. These are workshops we desing with the tours. These workshops last more than one hour. They consist of visiting the place and then doing the activities of the handout with the teachers. There are also some outdoors actitivies with the workshops. We believe, students have the opportunity to experience english differently. This can be a memorable and dynamic way for those students who have never experienced english before.
